When I interviewed ,CEO Mr Lv told me: Our company has been striving to improve the Japanese market since its establishment. You are the first English business recruited by the precision machining department of the company, for the development of occident. We do not have relatively complete support at this stage. We need you to start from zero.

At that time, I did not understand the meaning of “starting from zero” and thought that the word was generally appropriate for the boss. I was very confidence say yes.no problem. From the initial platform construction, took photos, B2B, I was full of hope every day.

The ideal is very full, the reality is very skinny, after 1 year, although there are daily inquiries from Europe and the United States from the platform, the rate of conversion orders is extremely low. After one year, it was found that the market share in occident was less than 0.01% of the company

In January 2014, based on the successful operation model and external learning of the Japanese market, CEO Mr Lv decided to establish a occident team. This team member was transferred from the company’s four departments of sales, quality control, purchase, and IT. Throughout this period of time, customers have given us very few orders. Most of them are aluminum alloys, requiring fast response, accurate precision, and beautiful appearance. Maybe we can better serve our customers in the processing of small batches of aluminum alloy parts? Therefore, this occident team is positioned to do this small-lot aluminum alloy parts processing business. In order to break through the occident markets, occident have received a privilege, that is, not in accordance with the company’s existing processes, to occident style to take orders and management. For example: In order to quickly respond to customers, quotes sent at any time must be returned within half an hour. In order to solve the problem of time difference with customers, all the chat software for customers to go to work must be online.

Through strategic positioning and adequate staffing, the occident markets have finally gotten some improvement, and they feel that they are slowly recovering from their slumbering state! However, it is far from reaching the level of the company. In order to further enhance the company’s strength and respond to the market’s requirement, CEO Mr Lv senior executives decided to reposition the occident markets and list ultra-precision tungsten steel punches as our new strategic business. At that time, we were thinking that since the positioning of aluminum alloy parts processing can successfully open markets in occident States, a greater breakthrough and development will be made. It would be no less difficult to copy the previous strategy again!

However this new position is more than our imagination for the whole team. The original has done all the promotion strategies. According to the plan, we think we can receive more orders and expand into a bigger market, but this reform is like we are prepared to work hard to say good direction when suddenly someone told You, please stop and re-find the direction. Originally, occident were like little babies who were waiting to be nursed. They were prepared to learn to walk, but they had to cut off the supply of milk and cultivate it again. Our performance has not been increased for a long period of time due to the new strategic positioning. On the contrary, performance has been deteriorating. The occident team have become increasingly skeptical about the strategic positioning of tungsten steel punches. The team with 6 members originally chose to leave. In the end, I was alone and I was struggling. I thought that the group that had already collapsed would not be able to awaken the occident markets.

Due to changes in personnel, the occident teams had to be dissolved. After three years of trials in the occident markets, the proportion of the companies in occident was still less than 5% of the company, and the development of the enterprises required profit before they could operate normally. After discussions with the senior management of CEO Mr Lv, We are ready to invest all of the personnel of the precision machining department into the established Japanese market. At the same time, talk to me and prepare to transfer me to another business unit! Although he had tried very hard to restrain the discontent and unwillingness of obnoxiousness, after talking with CEO Mr Lv, he hoped to give one month more consideration. In this month, she burst into tears every night, eating inedible, sleepless nights, weight fell from the original 96 kg to 88 kg, after all, I will make a choice after 1 month!

Although there were no occident teams, the company implemented a horizontal organization team. Every member of my team was still carefully and devoted to the few occident orders! I remember one guest sent me a letter of commendation. I still remember the contents of the e-mail clearly and said, “I’m very grateful to the company for my help.I cannot image that you just only 3 days to finish this order. The appearance is very beautiful. The products produced by Germany are more perfect and they have given me a surprise!” Perhaps my heart needs too much recognition. Although it is a relatively common and relatively polite message, it gives me great confidence, and CEO Mr Lv saw me continue. The determination of the European and American markets and the selfless support of the entire team decided to give me one last chance.
