This month, there was good news from Medical Division, KANOU Group: KANOU Group (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. has officially become a member of Shenzhen Association of Medical Devices.

Founded in 2003, Shenzhen Association of Medical Devices (SAMD) is a group member of China Association of Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI). The current president is Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. the main daily work of the association includes: research, publicity and implementation of medical industry regulations and standards; technical talents training in medical field; guidance for quality system, product certification and market access; industry investigation and research; participation in qualification examination and assistance to industry supervision; appraisals and popularization of achievements and new products; organization of industry communication domestically and internationally.

Since 2003, the association has carried out a series of fruitful communicational activities in the field of medical devices and equipment. Such as organization of group participating in industry exhibitions over ten years. For example, the annual International Hospital and medical equipment exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany (MEDICA); international medical equipment exhibition, Florida, USA (FIME2009); Arab international medical devices exhibition (Arab Health); Medical Fair Australia, etc. In May 2005, the association passed the qualification certification of “Shenzhen scientific and technological achievements evaluation unit” issued by Shenzhen Science and Technology Bureau, and became one of the first batch of institutions with scientific and technological achievements appraisal and project assessment qualifications in Shenzhen; in 2006, Symposium on the construction of international science and technology innovation resource platform and embassy promotion of economic and technological cooperation projects; in 2008, “American medical equipment supervision and management system” seminar; in 2009, the association was awarded “Shenzhen AAAA Industry Association”; in 2010, Shenzhen medical device industry analysis report compilation; Shenzhen pharmaceutical industry analysis report writing, etc. Meanwhile, the association is committed to talents trainings, including training for medical device internal auditors; training for medical device production quality management standards; training for corporative business license and other aspects.
